But really think about them as Natures very own cleaning squad. How else would that egg perish?

I remember we had to tidy up the school yard every spring when the snow had melted. I found the cadavre of a magpie. I lifted it with a stick and it was hollow inside, bar the.... UMPSGOTTS. Had I not disturbed the process, the magpie would be gone, and the UMPS would vanish too....

Really, look upon them as ants, or something! ægrinæ

SmugColditz · 23/05/2008 22:19

I haven't had them in my bins yet, although I wouldn't know because from March onwards I take my bins out with gloves on at arm's length with eyes closed, and from end of april I use a shopping bag and take it out at the end of every day.

Yes, really. The washing up hangs around longer in this house than the bin in summer.

Divastrop · 23/05/2008 22:19

oh bum.it was mentioned in another thread that has now been deleted.what topic is it in?i have got the gist of what its about and i had a similar situation a couple of years ago

QuintessentialShadows · 23/05/2008 22:19

SmugColditz · 23/05/2008 22:19

Psychomum5 · 23/05/2008 22:21

mine were the outside bins.....believe me, inside bins would not get the chance either, as DH empties regularly.
