I was NC with my father when i got engaged, for good reasons. I experienced a lot of harassment from family and family friends telling me i had to invite him and ‘he’s still your father’ irrespective of what he had done. My husband and my nan were the only ones that supported my decision not to invite him. I didn’t. My brother walked me down the aisle 20 years ago and i have 0 regrets to this day. He didn’t deserve to be there.
