Just that really! Looking for somewhere new to explore the charity shops, would like a nice place to walk around with a good selection of charity shops at good prices! Bonus points for somewhere for sightseeing or something else to do too. Where's your favourite place for a mooch?

For best charity shop finds, Tunbridge Wells. Although this was before the COL crisis, doubt if prices are quite as reasonable now - and of course it’s a very pretty town to wander round.

Chichester is nice to visit and has good charity shops as naice residents :)
Any Emmaus centre as they tend to have several departments and a cafe. I’ve been to the one outside Bedford, and one near Hove - which also has a load of charity shops around George Street. Combine that with time at the beach for a grand day out.

I quite like Burnham on Sea. Lovely beach to walk along with town very nearby with several charity shops - all very good and run well.

I had some free time (and a rental car for a few days) and didn’t want to pay fees for the car to be going nowhere….so I decided to have a day drive to beautiful Ludlow in Shropshire (there is a lovely market in the cobbled square and a Castle to explore).

I was pleased to see some excellent charity shops there and found some really nice items.

On the drive out of town I drove up to the summit of nearby Clee Hill - the views are spectacular!

was indeed a grand day out!

Near me - Kirkintilloch. Not much else to see there mind, but there’s about 6 charity shops on the high street.

Stockbridge in Edinburgh which is lovely.

I’ve been told that Morningside, also in Edinburgh is good for charity shops too.
