I’m not stupid, but don’t follow the news hugely as my anxiety isn’t great since having my Dd
Can anyone explain in simple terms, what is going on in the world and how it will affect Europe and the uk?

There's a lot of talk about what will or won't happen. There's no point tying yourself in knots about all the potential outcomes that are usually driven by rhetoric than analysis.

Outside of the hyperbole, I expect the most likely and direct outcome for our lives here will be an increase in the cost of living again as the price of oil goes up again.

Basically us have gone to war with Iran for having nuclear weapons when they arent allowed. We will get dragged into it as we always do with the US.

There is no war so chill.

The US empire be warmongering as per usual. Nothing to see here....

All war is for dummies. But those dummies only care about making their dummie mates who sell arms richer, or self aggrandising for their own cause and followers. I hope America remembers its constitution and deposes their dummie in chief!

Fuck knows. I do wonder if it’ll be another Afghanistan. If Iran attack the U.S. using a sleeper cell, triggering article 5 so we all get sucked in again.

Possibly we’ve entered a new phase of diplomacy. The we told you, you didn’t listen, so now look at what you made me do.

It all depends on Iran now.

They do nothing, they attack US military assets nearby, they use sleeper cells/ allies to commit acts in U.S., who knows maybe there will be a regime change and we can do this again in a decade as it turns out he’s even worse than the current one.
