For 20 years I have had magnolia walls and lived in private rent . We have been offered a council house and the relief of being able to decorate, and not panic about

My

Son making a mark on the wall and panic because he’s disabled. . To sit in my new living room that I decorated . To put a shelf up on the wall ( I was never allowed with my landlord(

I feel so happy and lucky. Honestly I’m so lucky .

I hope it's wonderful! Top tip, check if your local dump had paint recycling. I saw it on a tv show and looked it up. People drop off unused paint and you can have it for free. I painted a whole room in farrow and ball which would have cost me well over £100.

I'd never heard of it and now I'm a little obsessed. Great for murals etc.

I have just moved out of army housing into social housing and love having some colour on the walls!
