... to be insanely pleased that DS has thrown up over DH for a change....

I'm fed up with being the one who gets covered with puke, while DH grins, and says "where are the towels?".

the only down side is that he hadn't got round to changing having come in from work, so his suit trousers and nice tie now need Dry Cleaning.

But... for a change, I don't need a full change of clothes or a shower!

YA most certainly NBU!!!

My two boys were hardly ever sick but I'll never forget the feeling of glee when, IL's arrived just after DS1 had a feed. As mil picked him up I said 'don't jiggle him around too much, he's just had a feed'.

So she waved him about over her head and as soon as his head went lower than his tummy...

Splat!!

oh youve just reminded me of the happy occasion when one of the ds's (i forget which) threw up all over dp.... on an airplane.

of course, hed been climbing all over/entertained/fed/struggled with me the whole damn journey and dp was holding him for a sec as he was tetchy and i was just getting up to take him to change his nappy. marvellous it was.

Dh had a horrid hangover one Saturday but was still happy to look after dd in the afternoon while I went shopping. He spent his time lying on the couch with dd sitting on his chest while he made faces at her to keep her amused. All was going well until she did a burp then a gurgle then a huge vom all over his chest/neck/face. And to top it all I had given her fish pie for lunch !

I LOLed at "insanely pleased" - I have a mental image of you dancing around waving your hands in the air and chanting.

i just did a very slow walk to get a towel..... savournig the wet feeling leeching through DH's trousers onto his legs.... (that sounds dirty)

I remember my dh lying on the floor holding dd (very pukey baby) above him doing airplanes just after a feed... not a pretty sight!

I have been known to do a happy dance when dh gets pee'd, poo'd or vom'd on!!! I can still remember the frantic poo in the bath phonecall, "what do I do" he cried - I think I smiled into my glass of wine that I was enjoying at the time (my poor dh seems to mostly get goo'd on when I am not there!)
