Stickiest sanitary pads

that are unscented.

Help me find the stickiest pads for heavy flows for a larger body please.

I have used lilets maternity pads but some man at lilets decided to change them up and they barely stick to my underwear now. I'm absolutely completely gutted. They are absolute garbage now and I have written to them to complain.

Pls no suggestions on pants, cups etc. I'm asking about single use pads only.

So do they have a scent or not?

Yes they have a mild scent. If you look on the back or packets the ingredients will say fragrance

I just can't fathom why adding perfume to sanitary pads was seen as a good idea. I am prone to allergies and it gives me the burn just thinking about it. It's on a par with adding perfume to sunscreen - check the bottle for ingredients and you'll likely be amazed. Don't even get me started on scented baby products.

I had an ablation which also involved the removal of a hidden fibroid first. It transformed my life. I was offered some drug treatment first although they said was only temporary. I found out the Mirena didn't agree with me - embarrassingly I found I couldnt stop crying at the least thing. But lots of people rave about it? Is there something medical that can be done?

Kotex work for me. Sometimes have to double up on knickers with other brands to hold them more firmly in place.

I had a revelation when postpartum with my daughter and now only use the TENA incontinence disposable pants during a period. Every (and I mean, I must have tried 30 sorts) of sanitary pad used to make me so sore and / or leak. Whilst the TENA are on the more expensive side, it’s worth it to me. Might be something to explore?

@MrsGreen2021I often see a lot of these (unopened packets) in charity shops if you're finding them expensive.

I will def also try the body form night pads. Natracare Will definitely be ok for day 3-5, but feel a bit too slim for the first two days. Supermarket own are on my list too.

I found always platinum quite good but unfortunately they are scented. I have yet to read of a woman who prefers scented pads.

Have you tried period pants? I don’t know if there are any for heavy flow.
I have heavy flow with flooding (joy 🙄) and I have washable maternity pads and these work well / don’t bunch up

It only serves to make women more paranoid about periods. We already have to worry about leaks and now we are made to worry about smell. “Why are they scented? It must be because people can smell my period” etc. in my 46 years I’ve never once smelled that someone has their period. It’s ridiculous.
