Stickiest sanitary pads

Perimenoanti · 20/06/2025 21:59

that are unscented.

Help me find the stickiest pads for heavy flows for a larger body please.

I have used lilets maternity pads but some man at lilets decided to change them up and they barely stick to my underwear now. I'm absolutely completely gutted. They are absolute garbage now and I have written to them to complain.

Pls no suggestions on pants, cups etc. I'm asking about single use pads only.

I was just going to order my deodorant from Amazon and it's been discontinued too. Its not listed on ocado either. What a day for a woman!

Yep, that too!

they keep friggin around with the formula as well. Just leave it the fuck alone!!

Have you tried incontinence pads ? I find them more absorbent and sticky .
I use Always long , unfortunately they are scented but they ( unlike most ) don't aggravate me

No, I haven't looked into those yet. Will def do if the other suggestions here lead nowhere.

Cotton's overnight pads, I have the order on iherb or from Carethy, so I order 6 months worth at a time. They and not plasticy so you don't feel clammy or get itchy because of scent, also the have normal wings and wings at the back to stop the pad moving side to side.
I use them with Love Luna full briefs they make the perfect combination for me.

fivetriangulartrees · 21/06/2025 00:29

The Asda (unscented) night time ones with wings are so sticky, particularly if you stick one wing to another, that I've ripped the gusset out of several pairs of pants trying to remove them.

I leak at the front more than at the back.

Bodyform Maxi Night with wings have a good amount at the front and I find they stick really well. The towels are more padded than most modern ones and I find them very comfortable.

They aren’t that easy to find, I think Savers is one of the only shops local to me that stock them. Haven’t seen them on Amazon.

These are not the same as Bodyform Goodnight, which I have accidentally bought and been disappointed with. Although they stick reasonably well too.

Thanks. Apparently boots is a stockist too.

I struggle with this too, the body form night extra large are pretty good - they have a large bum end (oh so technical!)

However, even those I don’t fully trust at night, so I also wear period pants too - with full back to front gusset

We’re just so lucky, aren’t we?

These

I've been using these for a couple of years now, day and night. If things are particularly bad at night then I'll double up but opposite ways round if that makes sense.
There's no scent, or plastic feel to them, honestly can't believe the money I've spent on branded sanpro over the years

These still have fragrance in them. They gave me thrush

Dutchhouse14 · 21/06/2025 01:37

Always infinity flex protect are my favourites.
Definitely don't need any scented sanitary pads!!

Really, that surprises me. Fragranced pads have always made me feel nauseous but I've been fine with these.
I suppose our bodies tollerate things in different ways.

So do they have a scent or not?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will try a few.

What I can share is that the cheeky panda ones are crap. The long/night ones. Wings in a weird place with hardly any adhesive. The middle of the crotch scrunched up in no time and I got a sore bottom just sitting in them for a few hours. Not fit for purpose.

OP hope you find some you like. Have you considered period knickers? I use modi bodi have super heavy flow and they have changed my life!

Pippa12 · 21/06/2025 09:54

This will sound odd but have you tried changing your knickers? I have a favourite trusty style from primark that I’ve worn for years but my body form pantyliners no longer stick to them!!! I’ve bought a new pair from Tesco- no problem! I assume the ‘new improved style’ glue doesn’t like the primark material?

ChimpanzeeThatMonkeyNews · 21/06/2025 10:04

Lidl’s sanitary pads are a bloody nightmare to get off.

I think they feel really plasticy /sweaty though.

I've never noticed a scent to them but they gave zaicandy thrush.
For 34p a pack, I'd give them a try and decide for yourself

Sirzy · 21/06/2025 18:49

For me only body form work. I go for their night flow ones all the time but they do the trick

Perimenoanti · 21/06/2025 18:52

Natracare it is. They have the wings in the right place and survived a sweaty crotch in 33 degree heat plus walking. That's good enough for me 😁

Sunrae28 · 21/06/2025 18:54

Co op own, 61p per pack super or night work for me and I’m plus size with heavy flow. Unscented aswell

Nope that’s why I’m sticking with them because the perfume irritates!

Pinkywoo · 21/06/2025 19:21

I use Adsa's own night time with wings, definitely no scent and I'm in peri so very heavy periods. If you find the wings are too far forward just turn it round and wear it backwards.
