There must be loads of budding actors who want to be in adverts, but they use the same people in different ads - the bulky pee pants woman is in a kitchens ad, the corsodyl woman is in premier in ads, the man in the Flash ad is in an opticians ad, etc.
I definitely need to get out more 😄but I tend to watch live TV so these things bother me...

AIBU to suggest they use different actors for different ads? Just seems a bit mean to be when there's so many trying to get a TV career launched without having to enter the mindless 'talent' competitions.

But maybe they reuse these people because they are good? Perhaps they are reliable, turn up on time, do the job convincingly and go home - and many of the others don't and aren't?

Not all aspiring actors are actually cut out to be actors.

I have never watched that closely...

They're probably with an agency who specifically find people roles in adverts (because they tend to have a different... look... to other actors)
