To be at day 15 of cycle and hesitate again if to start HRT? Can you convince me?

I have had it sitting there for months.
Arguments in favour: hopefully less anxiety, better sleep, less erratic bleeding - what else?
Arguments against:worrying it will (initially) make me feel worse, make me put on weight, do I really need it?
I just want to make a decision! Can anyone help?

Give it a try, if it doesn't work for you then you can always stop it again. It has been good for me, and no unpleasant side effects.

Saw a GP about it, her words
“I think you should give it a try, if you don’t get on with it. Stop”

My main symptoms pre HRT were anxiety, night sweats and sleeplessness. HRT solved those in a couple of weeks. I was very regular before, and it did mess up my cycle a bit, and I got one or two months of heavy flow, but then very, very light. No real side effects, it solved my particular issues, but didn't give me a new lease of life either! So, kind of nothing ventured, nothing gained I suppose. The extra sleep was bliss.

Give it a go.

I was just like you! Had it sitting there for a couple of months before I decided to actually start it. For me it was a game changer. No more hot flushes or night sweats, I actually slept! And the anxiety practically went.
And because I was able to sleep so much better - (only get up once for a wee rather than 4 times! ) I can face whatever the day may bring.
honestly do try it, if it’s not for you then you don’t have carry on or you can try something different but if you don’t try you’ll never know!

Okay it’s done! Let’s see how it goes!
