For not having pic of only my friend and with her kid on my photo album?

Do you guys have pictures of ur friends in you photo album? I do have but only where im the picture as well or else it would take to much place in a photo album with printed photos of only friends and each photo costs to, not much but can’t be bothered. And it also feels a bit weird to me to put a friends toddler or kid into my photo album. I did take some pictures with only her and her kid with her husband, but i had no plan in adding them into shopping cart site for them to print them out and me pay for extra photos. Because when she looked trough my photo album she asked where the other pictures where since i only ordered the one my husband took of only me and her , and the ones with me and my husband.

Not sure why she wants her child in your photo album. This is something I find difficult to reconcile. Saying that, my bf’s children are important to me, I used to have them to stay without their parents in school holidays. I have little interest in anyone else’s kids, we aren’t close, so having pictures would be weird. If you’ve spent a lot of time with your bf’s dc, then yabu.

Your post is really difficult to decipher.

Your album - your choice.

no need to justify to anyone else!

I've got more photos of my dog than my friends in my photo album.

I have loads of pictures of friends in my photo albums. But there’s no right or wrong. It’s up to you.

Littlediduknowhums · 16/06/2025 19:16

@Cherrysoup we don’t see them as often anymore and i don’t see their kid often either so i don’t really have relation with their toddler. To the point where i feel the need to put them on my photo album.

@Tulipssndturkeys yea find it a bit weird to get asked since if it was opposite i would not have asked. Since some just want family or the least with friends ect

I'm being perfectly nice? I speak 4 languages myself, so very much 'sympathetic native speaker' to use the old exam board terminology. Not adding in a negative makes your meaning very difficult to understand. For someone who doesn't have English as their first language, you use a lot of idiomatic phrases.

Talipesmum · 16/06/2025 21:37

It’s up to you, but I don’t think it’s weird to put pics of friends or other family without you in them, in your photo album. I’m sure I’ve got plenty like that, if we’ve been away with people. Guess it depends on if it’s a small select album or a massive one with loads of pics in. Are you getting the photos printed out individually and putting them in an album? There are often lots of offers for printed albums where you can arrange the pics and fit more in that way.
Have you sent her the pics of her and her child so she can print her own copies? I guess she thinks if you are keen enough to take the pic in the first place, you might include it in the album if it’s nice. I don’t think it would be weird. But it’s up to you of course.

Littlediduknowhums · 16/06/2025 21:55

@Talipesmum i always send them to her :) because they love the camera on my phone so they have the chance to print or buy pictures with the ones i send them. Since my album is getting fat lol i need to priotize putting other pictures on it than just friends on it. Like its nice pictures i taken of them but i don’t feel the need to put them into my album unless its with all of us

I had absolutely no problem understanding what OP had written, it was perfectly clear

libraunited · 17/06/2025 11:19

@Idontjetwashthefuckershe missed out ‘don’t’ so it totally changed the meaning of her sentence.

She didn't miss out 'don't', she added a full stop where it shouldn't have been but it was extremely clear anyway!

That’s how I read and understood it too! Anyway the post’s not about writing or grammar. OP be honest, tell your friend you have limited album space and are selective about what you keep there. As a compromise could you offer in future that when you take a nice pic you send them via WhatsApp to friend who can download them, make her own album, whatever she wants?

The very fact you keep referring to “her kid” probably means you are not interested in your friends child and she has noticed. Just my opinion from the thread. Could be wrong.
