Naked bike ride

Was in London yesterday: naked bike ride. Fine.. not my thing (or many other women). They finished the ride/protest/whatvever and then conjugated near B palace.. and just seemed to be happy wafting their micro penis’s about for kicks and giggles/

A lot of horrid middle aged naked men kicking about just felt unnecessary.

and 🤮

Legal activities that make other people feel uncomfortable. Not me but other people. You do seem very dedicated to this subject.

There is a thread on here about a man alone in a cinema watching the new Lilo & Stitch film. Cries of he must be a pedo, of up to no good.
He makes mums feel uncomfortable so lone men in the cinema watching a kid film must be stopped.

I really do think it's strange to are defending naturists without being one.

You are one aren't you? If not, you want to be.

I am someone who believes that "this is wrong because I'm offended" is a slippery slope

Lots of legal activities make some people uncomfortable...

Should we ban:
Religion
Pets
TV
Uncovered female skin
Gay people
Dressing in a way that isn't gender conforming
Football
Cycling
Driving
Singing

DoctorRoseReturns · 16/06/2025 22:13

What?

I think you're a bit dense if you can't understand that

I know. But he was engaging in a legal activity that some people didn't like... like this thread.

I'm not even offended. I just think it's weird.

How are you conflating someone naked on a bike with wanting to molest children?

The bike rides are organised and have been going on for years. It is not sexual. The human body is not sexual... it is just a body. No one is flashing their genitals on a bike... you barely see them as legs get in the way. You would have to be looking to really notice.
If you are really looking, then complaining, then you need to re-evaluate things in your life.

How do you know someone naked on a bike in front of children isn’t riding that bike naked specifically because they want children to see?

The answer is you can’t tell. But some posters seem to think that not being able to tell doesn’t matter.

I’m saying that not being able to tell makes it dangerous.

I would rather it was illegal to be naked in public so that there was zero chance of bad actors taking advantage of things like the naked bike ride in order to reinforce their offending behaviour and possibly escalate it.

Others would rather let things like the naked bike ride go ahead and so what if there are some real predatory perverts in the mix? No one can tell anyway!

I find that attitude disturbing.

She was saying it was a perfectly legal activity which made some people uncomfortable so by your logic should be banned

I defend actives that I don't participate in. Surely everyone does the same?

OK, people who want to be naked in public are weird.

This is my last post on the subject.

How do you know they are?

Or maybe teach your kids the difference between a dodgy lone man in a park showing them his penis, and a big group of people cycling that happen to have no clothing on.

OK that's your opinion

Which is the point

It's an opinion

Which can differ

I find it disturbing that you have jumped to screaming child abuse because people aren't agreeing with you

grumpygrape · 16/06/2025 22:26

I would suggest the people who don't like the law as it stands redirect their energies to getting the law changed rather than bang their heads against those of us who are content with the status quo.
And in the meantime protect themselves and their loved ones against the perceived evil of people with no clothes on riding bicycles in public.

You think it’s disturbing that I think strangers being naked in the street in front of children is child abuse?

I’m okay with that.

novanoir · 16/06/2025 22:30

TheScentOfElonMusk · 16/06/2025 11:40

It's a violation of other people's boundaries without their consent.

I don't want to see a naked man when I'm not wanting or expecting to see one. I don't want my children to see random naked strangers.

If I deliberately went to a nudist beach, I understand I'd be signing up to be okay with for whatever I saw there.

But when I'm just out and about with the kids, enjoying the day, it's totally fucking out of order TBH and nothing anyone can say will convince me it's not part of a deviant fetish.

My stance on it too. 100% creepy and unnecessary.

XenoBitch · 16/06/2025 22:21
