I'm at a family resort place in the UK that has to do with castles/knights (it's relevant I swear). Family with a kid about 3. Mum clearly burnt out after a family day out (we are a the overnight entertainment bit now). The Dad was encouraging the kid to attack the mum with a plastic sword he had, to which the mum said "please dont tell him to do that, it hurts". The Dad just laughed at her and kept encouraging him.
Two second later after rilling the kid the Dad then announces he's off for a vape and he will be back later. When the mum said please not now while he's like this, the charming Dad replied "remember what day!!" Laughed and walked off anyway.
The whole encounter has made me so mad! I highly doubt this man spends the other 364 days of the year managing the brunt of parenting and is in desperate need of a day off!
Anyway, when he came back the mum said she was off to the room to grab something and would be 5 minutes. She set off, the kid started running after her and he made no attempt to stop him. So he's now sat here, enjoying another child free chill.
Why are most men like this?
