Kids yelling

We have a number of kids in our street that play outside. No problem with that, don't mind the general noise they make but for some reason they don't knock for each other they just stand there yelling a name until said child comes out and that drives me mad. I counted this morning and someone called a name out 23 times before giving up. What's wrong with knocking on a door to see if your mate I around?

I suggest you go out and politely ask them to keep the noise down or failing that, speak to their parents.

I'd go out and ask them to knock at the door.
