Just finished watching season 3 (I know, long after everybody else). I feel like everything I heard in advance of it had to do with Parker Posey’s accent, or Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood. They’re all good, but for me the performance that really stood out was Jason Isaacs, so much vulnerability, emotion, despair, volatility in this character with a very generic douchebro, finance guy exterior. To me it was by a mile the best performance. His storyline was pretty dramatic as well! The whole cast is great, but AIBU to wonder why his performance isn’t getting more attention?
