Redoing my 6 year olds bedroom and purchasing this bed. Its highest point is 116cm.

would it look ridiculous having a tv on top of the tall malm set which is 123cm so he can use tv on a evening at the weekend?

im not sure if the standard 100cm high would let the tv be visible to him?

im overthinking this but need help! I have attached dimensions of all, will drop the links below

Make sure the Malm is secured to the wall, and the TV is secured also to the wall. Deaths have been caused by this one.

Lucky DS!
I’d have the steps at the feet end of the bed and I’d go for the 123cm malm as the extra drawer layer is going to be useful in any case. The bottom of your tv will have a little stand. It’s going to be great!

Thanks peapod, will definitely make sure it’s secure!

Does a 6 year old definitely need a TV in their bedroom though?

Aw thank you! That’s a good point actually on drawer space. His bedroom is so small so any extra storage is welcome!

Agreed. Personally wouldn't be trying to fit a TV into any young child's bedroom.

Anyway, we have those drawers in a small box room and they are great - hold a lot. As PP mentioned, ensure they are attached to wall.

No

I didn’t ask if a tv should go into a child’s bedroom. He isn’t having it now - I am thinking of longevity for when he grows. Not that that’s the question I asked.
