Has the amount of extra noisy souped up cars increased?

Just moved from a lovely quiet cul de sac, main road nearby so noisy traffic but because it was regulated with lights it was more like a rhythm.

New house, quiet street but surrounded by several more main roads, what a difference! All I hear outside and inside is turbo charged cars, motorbikes and unfortunately in the flight path of local airport so aeroplane roars. It does seem to be non stop, especially with windows open. Presently there is some arse who's riding round on a motorbike with 2 others on it, constantly, reported by everyone often but still doing it.

I know I'm over sensitive with noise, so miss my last quiet home and hate this one. Long story, didn't want to move but felt I had to.

It's just not peaceful to sit out in the garden. I know AIBU because not got NFH etc but just soooooo sad we left our home I loved for a bigger mortgage, which would've been paid off by now.

Give and take with a partner I know, he wasn't happy there and I'm not here. Trying my best to adjust, make new memories. Xxx

I think so I often hear cars racing around late at night. And I'm sure some people just sit outside revving their engines. It's really annoying and unnecessary

I think you must live where I am, I swear if the motorbike going round here all day goes round the estate once more I won't be responsible for my actions... it's not your imagination, it's getting worse generally.

Are we neighbours? I can set my alarm by one of them, ridiculously loud at 6:30 every weekday morning.. awful when the weather is warm and the windows are open
We live on the way to a shit hole (to be blunt) so the number of chavvy little cars that fly up the hill disturbing everyone is ridiculous!
