we have two credit cards and about 3.5k loan on them combined. If we consolidate them both and transfer our debt somewhere with no interest, does that affect our credit score? Does anyone know companies worth to ask for an advice?

I think as long as you regularly make a payment, then your credit score should remain good. Plus you benefit if no interest.

If yo are consolidating two credit cards to another interest free card your score will be affected as you will have three avenues of credit available to yo. If you close the other two accounts it will take a couple of months for them to come off your credit report

You could use a 0% balance transfer card . Money saving expert is good for this type of thing .

Thank you. I am leaning towards taking an interest free balance credit card. Pay it all off within 18 months and close the account.

i am able to check statements for the last year to see where things went so wrong and we didnt spend on anything big last year besides one emergency trip (funeral), it is usually when we order clothes and we get few sizes to choose from and then return. we always pay more than minimum but i guess its been lingering for 2 yrs and nothing has changed..

our remortgage is due in 7 years so if credit score goes down we should have enough time to bring it back up🤷🏻‍♀️
