Stay at home mum raising kids, feels like working constantly to conquer mess, chaos, do admin etc feels like 24 hours a day. Somebody always needs something. Have done this for years, now trying to contribute financially to the family as kids are more independent but literally getting nowhere. Applying for everything and anything. In my mid 40s feeling pretty useless and like I’m not contributing anything much or have much of use up offer the world. So feeling a bit crap. Anyone else experiencing this? Aibu to be feeling discouraged?

Keep your chin up. You've loads to offer.
What about doing a course to expand your qualifications and build up your confidence?

I think that’s part of the issue a lack of confidence. I just don’t see what skills I have to offer, but will look into training courses. I just feel like I’ve didn’t years achieving nothing at home and now I’m not much use.
