Friend Moved In A Nightmare Avenue What To Do?

A friend who is a decade younger than me has sold her flat and bought a 2 bed semi in what she thought was a nice cul de sac.
There are only 16 houses in it.
She moved in in early March.

The family next door but one are nasty they have two daughters and the youngest one makes up stories about the neighbours on a regular basis including the previous owners who sold the house to my friend.

She has spoken to two neighbours who told her the couple who lived in her house had lots of trouble with these people and the woman was assaulted by the woman who lives next door but one.

The other day she came home from work and got a knock on her door from the male who lives ndb1 he said my friends partner who does not yet live with her was eyeing up his oldest daughter last sunday and told her to tell him if he does it again he wil get a whack.
My friend said it wasnt true and he said my daughter doesnt tell fibs.
The younger one has also thrown things at my friends cat too.

The previous owners got the police involved when the assault happened.

My friend is looking to have a child in the next two years but feels like she has made a terrible move.
What can be done?.

Did the previous owners declare a neighbour dispute? I thought if you had called police/ complained to council you had to tell potential buyers. Possibly some legal recourse maybe repost in legal?

No the previous owners said nothing at all.

When my friend went to the second viewing she asked about neighbours and was told all is good.

If she knew about this she could have bought a similar house cheaper 2 miles away from where she is now. She really liked the house but doesnt now.

My honest advice is keep the cat inside for a while and get a some obvious cameras and only speak to them through the ring doorbell so it's all recorded and saved and hope that they move on to someone else if she can avoid them for long enough. Don't break pace when walking to or from the door and if she is caught outside make sure to look at a camera so they know they are on film.
