Collagen supplements and hotpod yoga - gimmicks or do they work?

I’m pondering trying both, have read the science around collagen and am not overly convinced, but also read lots from people raving about them…

Hotpod yoga just looks like something a bit different to try!

Any real life experience and feedback on either would be much appreciated!

I've been doing hotpod yoga a few times a week for a couple of months now and love it - it's made a tangible difference to my fitness and energy levels (not to mention my posture!)

From what I understand about collagen it goes to your joints first so if that's your concern good ! If it's for your face, probably try something else.

I love hot yoga, just cause I'm cold all the time Grin

I like hot pod yoga, find it more relaxing - sensory element of being in the pod means I am less distracted and the heat helps my joints and previous injury.

It’s for cellulite (which I know there’s no real solution to, so I’m clutching at straws really!). Good skin, drink loads of water, body brush regularly, good diet, and exercise includes a lot of resistance training. Don’t think there is anything else left to try!

I've just started taking strawberry flavoured collagen powder. It's meant to be good for joints and hair. My main reason for buying it though is that I've lost weight and I'm seeing slight loose skin on my thighs, even though I'm still working out. 💪 it tastes actually quite nice.

ETA: bought off Amazon for a tenner and reviews were good.

I started taking collagen for my joints and as an added bonus, my dry skin improved considerably. Great result for me.

Do you mind me asking how long it was before you saw the results?
