Fake Toe Nail?

dillydally79 · 09/06/2025 10:37

I had had to get one of my big toe nails removed a couple of months ago, what can I do to fix this and make it look good for my wedding in a couple of weeks. Would rather not go toenail-less as I’m wearing sandals Blush

Following as i have the same issue, currently just paint the skin where the nail was but it doesn't look great. Also have a wedding in a few weeks!

I had a similar problem and bought some fake toenails and superglued it on, then painted it match the rest of my toes. It looked like the real deal, I promise you.

I have acrylic on my toe nails

I had part of my nail removed (due to constant ingrown townail) they are an odd size so have false acrylic nail on both my big toes and they last ages and look great

as long as you have a bit of nail they can build a nail over this

Would it be safe to put gel over? If not, im sure there will be an option on amazon. Good luck for the wedding ❤️

You can buy glue on false toenails on Amazon, I like the french polish style.

You can do a nail reconstruction. I think it's usually made with gel and they last up to 8 weeks or so.

If you still have a bit of nail, find a chiropodist who does nail reconstruction. This lasted months on me (eventually had to file them away), though they’re only meant to last a few weeks.

If you have no nail left at all, buy a set of fake nails, and glue one of the largest ones on. They should stay put, but be sure to have some spare glue with you. This worked for me when I wore open-toed dance shoes to dance classes, and the fake nails never came off unexpectedly (this was before I discovered nail reconstruction).
