Hi I'm looking to relocate from England to Northern Ireland. I have 2 preschool children and just want a warm sub urban city/town to start young family in. I'm more interested in catholic schools. But clueless as to where to start from.
Be kind with your words please.

Why Northern Ireland? What specifically are you looking for in an area to live? Would you prefer to be nearer the city centre or by the beach/countryside?

I live in south Belfast (BT9 area) and really do love it. Brilliant for families, great schools, very cosmopolitan with lots of nice cafes, restaurants, & shops, loads of green space but within close proximity to the city centre. St Brides is an excellent catholic primary school, most pupils go on to top grammars however it is understandably very oversubscribed.

Holywood is a lovely little seaside town 15 mins outside Belfast - a bit more relaxed but equally great for kids with a fabulous high street. I always hear very good reports about St Patrick’s primary school.
