18 month old has gone off of her food. Is this normal?

Hi,

So my 18 month old has really gone off of her food for the past four days.

it started with her having a temperature, she then vomited on Thursday and continued to have temps that I sorted with Calpol and Nurofen.

The temps have since calmed down but she still seems to have gone off of her food.

I’ve offered her various different things, the only things she’s guaranteed to eat are peas and broccoli. Usually loves pancakes, fish fingers, a curry, french toast etc but doesn’t want all of these. She’s not keen on milk either. She only wants a 5oz morning bottle.

Is it just a phase? Or would you say she needs to see the GP? I wanted to give it some time as during the first year I took her to the GP for every illness no matter how small.

She has a slight runny nose and coughs here and there.

Thanks

She might have an ear infection, it can make chewing amd swallowing painful. If she is still not drinking much by tomorrow then take her to the GP. And keep an eye on her wet nappies in the meantime. If she isnt having many then call 111 for advice today
