To hate the new "Load newer posts" button

Why cant I have a list of pages?
Have I pressed something that I can unpress to get the pages again?

The "Load newer posts" is awful. I cant find anything. It takes forever to scroll to the end or back. I actually think it makes the system unusable on long threads.

I agree. It’s horrible. I have just given up with longer threads.
