You can not discriminate against a protected characteristic. In that case, sexual orientation. Being an aggressive, violent, law breaking racist isn’t a protected characteristic.

A burka is not a protected characteristic it is an item of clothing. Refusing service over an item of clothing happens all the time. Many clubs wont allow people in wearing tracksuit bottoms or trainers for example.

In the US several times, including 3 restaurants and a hairdressers. It happened to me in London after a protest when I went to order coffee and the barista was asking everyone if they would show their Palestinian flags to get served.
