Negative pregnancy tests but no period - 10 days late

Hi everyone, I understand that this case is very individual so I can’t necessarily rely on others’ experience but would just appreciate some views/advice. I’ve also got a medical appointment booked. So as the title says, my period is nearly 11 days late and all the tests I’ve been taking are negative. I’ve used a combination of the usual “line” tests as well as digital ones for absolute avoidance of any doubt so I’m super confused now as it’s not happened before. I’m very regular so this is new to me. On top of that, I’ve also noticed I’ve been feeling a bit unwell, a lot of diarrhoea (sorry, TMI) and a bit nauseous. I know that people can get nausea for lots of other reasons besides pregnancy but it’s just that I don’t get why it’s corresponding with the late period🥹

When is your medical appointment booked? Is this for an early scan? Beta HCGs? Diarrhoea can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. Unusual with a negative pregnancy test but not unheard of. Other signs of ectopic can be sharp pain in the abdomen, pains in your shoulders, feeling generally unwell. Even with a negative test, I would be tempted to get yourself checked out.
You could of course have a delayed period because you are unwell or because of a change in diet/medication.

The medical appointment is in a few weeks time. And I think it’s just a general checkup as the health navigator made it seem that it really wasn’t anything that needed a closer appointment date so she pushed it a bit further away. I think she also did this in case my period showed up during this time/then I could cancel the appointment.

Hormonal imbalances, weight gain or loss, too much exercise and stress are a few things that can cause your period to be late, although there are many others

Hi there. I am in the same situation as you. Did you find out what it was? Hope you are okay X
