i went by the mn name of shit for a night or two once, born out of end-of-tetherness with life in general. it was v liberating to post just like a lot of these examples. nxt time youre suicidal you should try it; cheered me right up actually!

expatinscotland · 21/05/2008 23:26

i try to avoid the 'Is my DH being an arse' ones.

because, hey, if you have to ask . . .

seeker · 22/05/2008 12:13

"people on state benefits are not actually taking money directly from your purse. And they do not have new cars every year"

OP posts:

I think everyone should have a 'post what you think day'. No matter how terrible the problem (within reason) you should post your first response!!
I may have mine today.....

VictorianSqualor · 22/05/2008 13:07

I quite often want to say 'Oh, Fuck off', but I'm too nice, so if we can fit that in somewhere I'll be very grateful.

posieparker · 22/05/2008 13:11

OP... I'm having trouble losing weight.
response... stop fucking eating and do some exercise, it's not rocket science.
OP... Is doughnutella a bad name?
Response... Yes it's vile and makes you sound rough.
OP... should I support my dh who wants to go to a LDC with his three best friends who are women?
Response.... Why don't you see if he can film himself when he cheats on you, you dozy bitch?

VictorianSqualor · 22/05/2008 13:14

Your 'first response' day sounds good PP.
I may join you if you actually do it, but think I may need a disclaimer.

This response was formed on a first response basis, formed purely on your possibly ridiculous OP. The responder holds no responsibility for your feelings towards them or yourself after responding.

OrmIrian · 22/05/2008 13:17

Just 50%?

pagwatch · 22/05/2008 13:17

rolf at doughnutella

and VS's disclaimer. Except that posting lines were closed . you will still be charged for this posting but your post will not be counted...

EffiePerine · 22/05/2008 13:19

'I would answer this if I had a clue what you were going on about'

VictorianSqualor · 22/05/2008 13:22

How about just

'I really don't give two hoots, I'm here to avoid housework and get responses to my problems, yours, quite simply, are not important.'

posieparker · 22/05/2008 13:35

VS, I am laughing aloud as I avoid the playroom which has been my job of the day for about three weeks hoping that the dcs have forgotten that I said I would do it, which includes another clear out!!

georgiemama · 22/05/2008 19:52

Or, and have actually seen posts like this recently a lot (quite right too) "don't know about your problem, but your spelling and grammar are atrocious, why not address that and then come back?"
