I agree with you in terms of online dating, alot of people seem to have no shame online and treat others terribly. I'm not sure about modern dating as a whole though.

People should certainly feel more shame about treating others like shit. They shouldn't feel shame when it comes to being up front about what they want.

If someone really just wants casual sex, then they shouldn't feel ashamed about that, for example. Being shameless in that situation would meaning being honest, which is a good thing.
