What do 9 year old girls and 7 year old boys like?

Meeting young relatives for the first time soon.. Not seen them for years for various reasons my children are late teens. Can any one tell me what Is popular with children of this age as I have no clue. Any info greatly received.

It's tricky when you don't know what they already have. My son (8) is swimming in lego and make a car model kits after his birthday we still hadn't finished those from christmas!

Personally I'd get them a marbling set or a set of blow pen art each with stencils- my son has loved doing them and are a bit different than the usual art kits.
