I have just signed a tenancy on a new house , so I pay straight away.l but that’s ok as it’s my dream house
I still have to pay 4 weeks notice on where I am too
So , when do I tell uc I have moved out? The day I move out or now? As my new tenancy has started now but in still in my old house for a month? So have keys for both places
In due to be paid uc on the 11th
I don’t want to miss out on getting help with my housing costs? Thank you
I understand I have to pay one months myself as the cross over
What about council tax etc ? Will I have to pay in both houses for a month plz
Thank-you

They won't pay UC for 2 properties. You need to declare for whichever you're in.

Tell them on the day you move out, they won't let you report a change of circumstances before it happens.

Your local council may be able to help with a discretionary housing payment to cover one of the two rents.
