Should I complain?

I’ve been going to Superdrug and seeing the same lady to have my eyebrows done for a good few years and have never had any issues but I’ve been today and I don’t know what the hell she’s done but my eyelids are so painful! My eyelids across the brow bone are very red and painful, what do you think that she has done? Shall I make a complaint? You can’t really see how red they are in this picture but they are stinging like crazy! They were stinging before I left but I didn’t say anything and, more to the point, neither did she. Surely she would have seen what she has done? She flashed the mirror in front of me for me to see the brows so must have known that my eyes looked pretty bad.

Should I complain?

What do you mean had your eye brows 'done'? Waxed, plucked, threaded?
It looks like the skin had been pulled off. For waxing, I think talc is normally put on 1st to prevent it, so maybe she forgot to put it on?

I would go back to show her and ask what you can put on it. If she isn't there, I'd ask the pharmacist.

Have you been in the sun before having them done as that can make them burn and string?

The salon I go to won’t wax if you’ve been on sunbeds or sunburnt.

I have them waxed. She never puts talc on first and I’ve never had any problems before.

Nope, no sunburn or sunbathing.

Edited

I had no idea either!

OP- maybe the wax was too hot or she has changed brands? I'd definitely go back to let her know and get something to soothe your skin.

Allergic reaction? Take some antihistamines to see if it helps
