I woke up this morning and as soon as I opened my eyes, my mouth felt like it was on fire!

went to the bathroom mirror and the top right side of my mouth is like a balloon. It looks like I’ve been punched in the face..

there looks to be some kind of sore / something in the inside of my lip. I can’t remember biting it / knocking it.. nothing noticeable has happened. I’ve got work in 30 minutes and feel so self conscious! 😅

and it hurts…. a LOT! 😔

in the last 10 minutes alone it’s gone from fairly ‘flat’ to really inflamed and puffy.

does anybody have any ideas on what I can do to rapidly shrink whatever this is?!

Thank you 🙏🏻

Have you recently had lip filler? Could it be a reaction?

Cold sore. Get some antivirals. Whenever I get one - they always seem to attack in the bloody night - go to bed without one and it’s all over my lip when I wake up. A sore that size will take about a week to go. They’re highly contagious so don’t kiss anyone or share towels in the meantime.

Nope, no lip fillers! My lips are usually pretty underwhelming 😅 but it looks this morning as though I’ve had about 4ml pumped into them!

I get these and they're staph infections - go to the dr for antibiotics asap
