Too sensitive

Advice please.
12.5 years in and my wife and I have completely grown apart. Now there’s such distance and I’ve realised she showers perhaps once per week and brushes her teeth even less. It’s really grossing me out.
I’ve tried to discuss the topic but she’s super sensitive and refuses to engage.
I’m now looking for the exit and she’s looking for a new kitchen and extension.
Help.

Lacking interest in personal hygiene can be indicative of depression? Have you checked she’s actually ok? Because it sounds like she isn’t.

Nice. Of course it might not be depression but wouldn’t you want to show some compassion?! You’d just presume they’ve turned into a skank, bail and to hell with the emotional health?!

He says they’ve grown apart, we don’t know how long this has been going on. I highly doubt it’s something that’s just happened. People don’t just give up on a marriage over night, if he has been putting up with this for a long time he’s obviously reached his breaking point. But, yes let’s just speculate that she has depression without knowing the facts….
