What’s happened to the ‘pages’ on Mumsnet?

Yesterday I could go from one page to the next/last/previous page. Today the pages have gone and it’s endlessly scrolling to the end. Annoying!

It’s a test MN are doing. There’s a thread in Site Stuff I think. Lots of people hate it.

I noticed this today, too when I wasn't logged in so I reckon it's to get more people to stay logged in when browsing?

Womanofcustard · 26/05/2025 18:48

Thank you, good to know it’s not me. It’s awful. If they keep it up I will be using Mumsnet much less.

I hate it! Have no idea how to add comments, or how long the thread is. Manageable sections are much easier.

AlertCat · 26/05/2025 18:52

I’ve recently noticed that the pages freeze and then I get a message saying ‘there is a repeated error’ on that page. It started a week or two ago. So annoying! Anyone else?

BallerinaRadio · 26/05/2025 18:53

It's the multiple clearly made up threads (usually by a handful of regulars) that are my problem at the minute 😂

IAmTheLogLady · 26/05/2025 18:56

You can opt out. Just message HQ or comment on the thread mentioned by a pp.
I didn't see any positive comments on that thread so I do wonder why they keep on rolling it out.

Womanofcustard · 26/05/2025 18:56

Thanks for the info about site stuff, I didn’t know it existed. I have asked Mumsnet to remove me from the infinite scrolling test, as have loads of others judging by the length of time it took to get to the end of the scroll!

If you go to the thread on Site Stuff you can request to be removed from the trial.

Given how many people have asked to be removed from the test group, I'm not quite sure why it's still running to be honest.
