YES!!!! This has been a pet peeve of mine for years. 😂

GingerPaste · 26/05/2025 17:23

It’s grim - especially in winter.

DollopOfFun · 26/05/2025 17:24

Agree. There is something about a wet sleeve that ruins my day.

See also rinsing spoons or misjudging sink water level.

The machines in Tesco are useless. It's pot luck as to which order of soap, water or air you're gonna get. Usually it's water for 30 seconds. Then nothing. Then soap. So you wait for more water. Then the fucking drier starts! So I treat it as a bit of a guessing game to pass the time. I end up washing off the soap at some point then just using a tissue to dry my hands

I was going to ask if you were a borrower but clearly others have the same problem I've never endured.

Maybe do an extra shake over the sink before drying?

Yeah the extra shake, that'll fix it.

Funny enough I am not short, Im 5'6, ok 5'5.5, so why its a problem for me I do not know.

But they're all useless, even the ones that are sort of ok. Hate them all.

I was thinking this recently - they're all just crap, and barely dry your hands at all.

The one I used today promised 25seconds of drying, then immediately counted down from 10seconds.

They are at man height! 5.5 would be below average for a man.

You'll have to take a tea towel out with you from now on 😂
