To be happy at losing 5lb in 3 days?

Started a calorie controlled diet /exercise plan last Friday May 23rd. I’ve now lost 5 pounds when I weighed this morning. ! I’ve stuck to it rigidly since Friday.

I’m 5ft1 by the way and my starting weight was 13 stone 11

I know you lose more in first week or so of a strict diet and the second week won’t be anything like this but still it’s given me a huge boost

Well done OP!! I'm reading the bloody sugar diet book and thinking of trying a very low calorie diet for a few days a week/eating a more Mediterranean style diet to help me be healthier and lose some weight.

5lbs in a week after your hard work is fantastic and sounds like the boost you needed to kick-start your healthier eating!

You’re right to be happy! Yes it’s water weight, but it’s a positive start and good to see the scales moving down.
