Flying with 17 month old

Hi all

we have 3 children and are doing a long haul flight. Youngest is 17 months and wants to spend all her time stuck to me as she is very cuddly (I don’t mind this) however I’m just thinking ahead for our flight. It’s 9 hours I believe.

I came across this on Amazon. Has anyone tried this or anything similar? She does have a carrier but this looks like it might be abit more comfortable for her as she can move more and be facing outwards and gives me use of my hands back. There is 4 adults in total so we can also shuffle her around if needed.

or is it a huge waste of money?

Linked here!

feel free to give me any suggestions!

thanks!

Have you paid for her to have her own seat?

Under 2 they don’t get assigned their own seat unless you pay for one specifically and she will be expected to be on an adult’s knee the whole time with an extension belt for take off/landing.

So if no seat assigned this might be helpful!

Waste of money. Unless you've bought her a seat she won't have one, and she's no more likely to sit nicely in that than with just a lap belt.

As pp said.. does she actually have her own seat?

Usually you can't take anything like this that isn't airline approved so I'd be surprised if they let you use it.
