Don't stalk him. Have a little dignity!

guitar · 20/05/2008 21:10

and did anyting at all make you think you are the woman of his dreams or did you just fancy him?

K20 · 20/05/2008 21:15

sadly he did nothing of the sort

He was just the first person in years who has made my heart race.

Tell him that and he'll probably just prescribe you some beta blockers.

Hee, hee!! This so made me chuckle!!

I went to see a gynaecologist about four weeks ago, I expected to see some middle aged old duffer with grey hair!! I nearly died on the spot when he walked in the door, he was absolutely gorgeous!! Talk, dark, handsome and only about 40, ideal! All I could think about was my hairy fango and he was going to want to see it!!

I think he could tell I was shocked that he was so gorgeous and young, but he had a wedding ring .......... oh and I suddenly remembered I'm married with a 9 month old!

We can dream though!!

K20 · 20/05/2008 21:48

lol at least I had no fango exposure to cope with.

By any chance, does anyone know the name of a French GP working for Atos Healthcare out of Stevenson House in East Croydon ....

Enjoy the fantasy for a while

K20 · 20/05/2008 23:48

I'd like to believe that medical ethics are the only thing preventing him from declaring his undying love and lust ringing me .......

OP posts:
K20 · 20/05/2008 23:49

he wasn't wearing a wedding ring - I checked

macdoodle · 20/05/2008 23:57

Sorry he would not be able to date you very strict guidelines re "fraternising" with patients

macdoodle · 20/05/2008 23:58

OTOH if he was that gorgeous tell us so we can stalk him

getmeouttahere · 21/05/2008 08:21

K20, do NOT track him down.

Just hold onto to that gorgeous man as a delicious fantasy to dip into during quiet moments.

totalmisfit · 21/05/2008 08:26

K20 - have you seen 'Waitress'? I highly recommend it.

tissy · 21/05/2008 08:27

Frenchmen, often don't wear wedding rings.

Don't go there.

Buda · 21/05/2008 08:35

Reminds me of the time I had to have laser surgery for abnormal cervical cells many years ago. Was nervous about the whole thing and specifically went to a female gynae. Day of op came along and I of course started period the day before and they tell you not to cancel if you have period as they can still do it.

So I trot along to Hammersmith Hospital. Nervous. Embarrassed. Etc.

Lying there ready and waiting for my nice female doc to arrive. No. She is stuck in traffic. In walks tall, dark and VERY handsome Frenchman who does the procedure. I was mortified.

My doc arrives but tells him to carry on and she sits with me and chats. Tells me she heard the Elkie Brooks song "Only Women Bleed" on the radio and thought of me as she was driving in. Then the tall, dark and exceedingly gorgeous French doc says "all finished now and I have just popped a tampon in for you". Very very very !

Buda!

NotQuiteCockney · 21/05/2008 08:46

K20 (and Buda) - this is not a coincidence. The fact you met someone in stressful circumstances and found them very attractive is a well-known psychological effect of stress.

Ok, I bet they don't really look like Quasimodo, but they're not as attractive as you think/remember.

NotQuiteCockney · 21/05/2008 08:48

Here:

Dutton and Aron (1974) had an attractive woman ask for interviews of young men both on a swaying rope bridge, 200 ft above a river, and also on terra firma. A part way through the interview, she gives them her phone number. Over 60% from the rope bridge called her back, versus 30% from terra firma. They had interpreted their arousal from fear on the bridge as attraction to the woman.

Buda · 21/05/2008 08:48

Oh yes he was NQC!!!

NotQuiteCockney · 21/05/2008 08:49

He was me? [deeply confused]
