To be worried about nursery choice now.

I selected a nursery for my DD to start and she is going to have her settling in sessions very soon. Since the visit and signing her up, a ofsted report has come out saying 'concerns raised' and it said that a staff member had administered the wrong amount of medication to a child. I have also found out from somebody that their friends DD broke her leg there a couple of years ago. I am starting to worry now, would you?

It’s hard to say from this information. Medication mistakes obviously should never ever happen but was it like giving Calpol 3.5 hours after last dose instead of 4 or giving a child a dangerous amount of medication they’d been told how to administer strictly?

Kids get injured all the time and sometimes it’s genuinely unavoidable or a plain accident, other times there’s negligence involved. Breaking a leg sounds pretty serious but it could’ve been just falling off a bike and landing funny or something.

I would ask for details on the incidents but not judge too soon as you’ll probably find most nursery have a certain number of incidents over the last couple of years as mistakes do happen.
