To expect banking app to show direct debits in date order?

Barclays have updated their app which means the regular payments section is now displayed in alphabetical order. I have spoken to them and there is no way to change this to date order.

Is this a wide spread issue?

Can someone recommend a bank with an app that shows payments in date order?

AIBU to expect regular payments to be shown in date order?

Monzo shows everything coming in and going out within a few days.

Lloyds have "view upcoming payments" in date order

My Halifax account shows me 'upcoming payments' for the next 30 days / 1 month, plus the total of my outgoings in that time period,. I can adjust the end date, so mid month I can set it to the month end date and know how much I will have left over.
Your account probably has something like that.

The barclays app has a calendar view option which shows when they expect direct debits etc to be paid out.

I have seen that.

It's just a faff to have to click through each day to add totals, when I used to be able to see clearly what was going out in a list for this week or next, for example.
