Is it rude to message a seller late at night?

Specifically now.
I’ve just seen something I want to buy from fb marketplace. I’ve been searching for ages for one near me within my budget but would it be rude to message them now.

I have such busy mornings that I forget or don’t have time and when I do message it’s gone! Don’t want to miss my chance with this. But obviously if it’s rude I’ll wait.

Not at all. The beauty of text-based messaging is that the recipient chooses when and how they are notified.

Thank you. That’s all I needed to hear and will send a message haha.

Jokes aside, I have previously messaged a few sellers late at night but they never get back to me and when I ask at a reasonable hour I always get a response so it probably is considered rude to some.

These are my only browsing hours in the day otherwise I would never get any shopping done lol.

I don’t think it’s rude at all, but I do wish schedule send were an option on more things.

Of course it's not rude - that's the whole point of the messaging system - no different than sending an email. You're not expecting them to reply straight away so who cares?

This x 100. So often think I'd like to be able to do this in what's app groups.
