Posting here as didn't get a reply on the SEN one
I've recently been diagnosed with inattentive ADHD. IVE BEEM TAKEN concerts for 4 days now. Today I feel very jittery and anxious.
Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences with this? Thanks

Hey there,
sorry I have nothing to say about medication for ADHD, but if you have the time and inclination take a look at the current research trend of treating ADHD with dietary interventions (metabolic psychiatry).
I'll post a link below, but you can go on youtube or pubmed and search ADHD/ ketogenic and it will pull up most of the relevant results. Youtube if you want to see discussions on the topic pubmed if you want to read the original research.

theres a neurodiverse section on MN that’s your best bet.

You need to speak to your psychiatrist- I imagine you’re doing the titration process where the whole point is you give feedback to them on how the drug is working for you. They started me on concerta and within a week I felt absolutely suicidal. Told my psych who moved me to Elvanse which is terrific for me.

Side effects are common and will ease within the next couple of weeks. If you're still struggling with them, they can be changed. I'm another who moved onto Elvanse and they're brilliant.
