To believe I am right, and that MN will help identify a Woman's Hour episode?

It's been years and my old username has long gone but my faith in MN is as steadfast as ever.

Long story short - DD1 (who was only weeks old when I joined here - bloody hell where does the time go!) has English A 'level exam tomorrow. Appallingly hopeless teacher that didn't even show to final two classes, was supposed to send a link for a Woman's hour episode and hasn't.

DD1 has emailed and emailed with no response this week, and I have been searching the archives to no avail.

DD1 says the episode covered Andrew Tate, US Abortion laws and Breast Cancer. My search on finding an episode on all three has been fruitless and I have wondered if in listening to multiple episodes DD has them a little mixed up? However DD1 is adamant that Andrew Tate and US abortion laws were in there.

My question is - AIBU in thinking that if such an episode does exist, someone on MN has heard it and recalls roughly when it was aired?

Any idea of when it was on? Why does she need it for the exam? What was the important bit of the programme that she needs?

Try asking on the feminism sex and gender board. They are usually pretty good with this type of thing.

@WitcheryDivine no idea sadly and this is what is making the search tricky. There could be a question on any aspect of the episode in the exam so finding the episode would be so helpful. DD1 does have some notes from when it was played in class but wanted to listen again this week to revise.

@GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen Great idea! Thank you

There was a Woman’s hour programme re talking about Andrew Tate to children on Friday 13 Jan 2023 - it’s still available to download if that’s of any use?

TeenToTwenties · 18/05/2025 13:11

Is it possible that they were all covered in the same week and thus amalgamated on a Weekend Woman's Hour programme?

Hermiaxx · 18/05/2025 13:12

I think the episode after the one I mentioned covers all the topics you mentioned (so the Saturday roundup on the 14 Jan?)

Hermiaxx · 18/05/2025 13:13

sorry cross post with@teentotwenties! 😊

Thank you @Hermiaxx and @TeenToTwenties I managed to find it!

If for any reason this helps someone else the link is
