Delivery drivers not using the road numbers

I have to submit a request for a refund from Uber eats as the delivery driver was given the correct address but the app is showing me the other end of the street (I live on a horseshoe shaped road). He wouldn't delivery and relied on the location put on the app, not people's doors numbers.

Delivery driver wouldn't come to the end of my road and stolen the pizza. I guess I confirmed the GPS location on the app

Aibu in thinking delivery drivers are lazy and should look at house numbers/use Google maps?

Can you move the pin on your delivery map?

why do you say he stole it?

i had similar when a delivery went to the end of the cul de sac that backed in to the end of our cul de sac. Just use your brain!

No idea. I suspect not after it's been ordered.

He stole it because by the time I walked down the road (got neighbour to look after sleeping baby) than his picture of where he left the pizza as down a side street and pizza gone. I was charged. Told the fucker to come 200 metres down the road lots

I can understand if it's dark as it is hard to see numbers, but Google maps is helpful

This happened to me once at a hotel. A complete strange area and the app put a pin in a random mark of grey buildings, I had no idea it wasn’t where I was due to no street names/satellite picture. I had to fight for my money back when all I really wanted was my food. He refused to come to where I was as he had delivered to the pin. I had written the hotel name in caps, the address and postcode was there too, but no he said he had delivered correctly. It was absolute stupidity.

Pay cash on delivery if possible ( I don’t use uber eats so not sure if it is ? )
