Garden leave, between jobs and tax free childcare/30 free hours… help!

Do you stil get free hours on garden leave? And what happens if there’s a month between jobs? I can’t see this information online anywhere !

If you’re on gardening leave you’re still being paid. How would anyone know?

But how would anyone know? You just keep renewing your code don't you? You don't have to give any employer details do you? It's only a month

If you are on Garden Leave you are still an employee so should get your 30hrs childcare and tax free option exactly the same as if you weren't on Garden Leave.

If Garden Leave terminates and your employment is officially over you can still put money into your online tax free childcare account, if you have funds available.

The 30 hrs free childcare does continue for a short grace period. Will you be registering for benefits during the gap? The grace period is of variable duration, until the next date out of the 31st March, August or December when there is ab audit - so long as your month between jobs falls in a gap between these 3 dates you will be fine - you must go on line and register using the eligibility checker to confirm your eligibility once you start the new job.
