To ask if you find Claire’s Accessories expensive?

I used to love Claire’s as a kid and my DD does too. I’m aware I have the power to not shop there (I rarely do) and I also know they very often have 3 for 3 free on, which is great, but AIBU to think that most of their products are very expensive for what they are?

They're very expensive, the 3 for 3 isn't really an offer because they're so overpriced in the first place.

Yes definitely. I wish they would just adjust their prices down rather than have all these 'buy 3, get 3 free' offers. Most of the time my daughter finds it too overwhelming to pick six similarly priced items, I get fed up of waiting around and we end up leaving empty handed. I'm not sure the 'offers' actually result in greater sales for them.

You can usually buy similar items from Primark for much less.

They have to price up because so much of their stock is nicked

Yes expensive and poor quality. All broke pretty quickly. I buy Bowtastic for my daughter now. Great range and much better quality

My girls love it but I dread the words “can we go to Claire’s” it’s very expensive for what it is!

It’s absolute over priced tat. Stupidly let my DD go in there and spend £30 birthday money. Two of the items broke while we were in the car on the way home.

Yes, I popped into one recently just to pick up a pack of black hair ties as I was away and there was a Claires near the hotel. I was very surprised at the price of their stock in general. Left the hair ties and went else where.

I often whisper to DD - 'you'll get that much cheaper online' or she'll stand looking at and wanting things for what feels like hours.
It's also always crammed full and hard to move around so I feel like im in the way all the bloody time.

I hate this shop. Poor quality, very expensive tat and still using guns for piercing ears.

In their heyday it wasn't as easy to find similar stuff but now it's everywhere. I think they will fold if they don't adjust their pricing. Awful shop.

It’s terrible overpriced tat. Always was but I think our expectations are higher now.
