I couldn’t begin to tell you what is wrong with them. There are enough of them like that for it to be a male problem rather than an individual personality problem.

I remember a post here, cannot remember what it was about, I think it was the man caught taking used tampons from the ladies loo in order to stick them up his bum. Anyway a poster asked her DH about it and I’ll never forget his response. “No matter how depraved or disgusting something is, there is a bloke out there who’ll wank over it”.

Many women would swear they don’t know any men like that - but we do. They are just really good at hiding it.

The high percentage of men wanking off to female abuse (porn) is just the tip of the iceberg.

Entitlement. Drummed into them unconsciously from the start. Societal acceptance of male violence. Marital rape being legal until very recently. Women being seen as objects, chattels, or items to be sold or traded. Misogynism in daily life, normalised and reinforced a hundredfold online. Confirmation bias as a human thinking error. Historical weight of original sin. God creating man in his image and being a man with no female representation of the divine. Is being told to be nice,and largely complying with that advice meaning the above continues

I know some lovely men, but they are in the minority imo

What is wrong with some men is for men to sort out not women.

Not just because women can't, they are often the targets of men's insecurities, jealously, entitlement, but mainly because they shouldn't have to.

At the moment they are trying the populist way, controlling female's reproductive rights, removing discrimination laws in employment (which will include maternity rights and being able to say openly they don't want women of menopausal or birthing ages in roles), because that is all they have, raise men by lowering others, the explosion of hardcore, just nasty porn, that is beamed into their private devices, you used to have to hang round some seriously seedy shops and establishments to get your hands on choking material.

So this is their stab at trying to get women, in particular, back in line to be their promised servants.

Honestly who has time or inclination for this shit. Hopefully they will be bred out, they won't be able to form any long term relationships that lead to children and the decent men will thrive. Well that is the hope. But that will take a generation or two. Short time in the history of society, arduous time if you are living through it!

As a mum of two boys, how do I prevent this? I don’t have a daughter so maybe I’m doing something I’m not aware of.
