Mat pay

My employer doesn’t offer enhanced mat pay. I’m receiving sta Mat pay but totally confused with my monthly pay and wage slips.wage slips is stating payment sta mat payment and an additional payment of weekly wage. Given I’m now on my third month I thought I would receive just 750 but got an additional sum of 890 from weekly wage. Worried I’m going to have to make payment back as it would appear I’m getting a form of enhanced pay

That doesn't sound right, you should check this with your employer as you don't want to be landed with massive overpayment.

you can download expected pay for each period from gov website. Some months would be a 4 week SMP period, some would be 5 week period it’s not split into monthly payment i.e a 5 week period would be 187.17x5 minus NI/PAYE and pension (if applicable it’s been a while since I did pay, also if I’ve read your post right)

I get paid four weekly so not standard monthly pay. I was expecting six weeks of 90% of my £2300 wage. My first month I received 2100 sta mat pay and additional weekly pay of 745. Second month I received again 2100 sta mat pay and additional 890 weekly pay rate. Thought this could to be with tax cautions but than this month £750 sta mat and additional £890 weekly pay rate. It’s doesn’t seem right and I don’t think I should be receiving the additional weekly pay rate as this appears to be some form of enhancement so confused
