count me in. i thought it was just my age

OhYouBadBadKitten · 19/05/2008 17:50

The panthers have me slightly confused.

maidamess · 19/05/2008 17:53

Lots of tedious 'in jokes' and 'in fights' at the moment. Too many threads to hide! I'd have a blank screen....

Ahh yes...of course!

OverMyDeadBody · 19/05/2008 18:26

Yep, it's full moon time.

I don't get it, but these scraps always fizzle out after a while, temporarily at least.

NoBiggy · 19/05/2008 18:28

I ignore those. I see there's some in-joke thing going on and I think to myself "this is not meant for me", and go on to one of the threads that very occasionally comes up where I might have something to say.

eenybeeny · 19/05/2008 18:28

i havent got a clue. I think people are being hurt and flouncing and lots of people are telling people other than me that they love them!

blinkingthreetimes · 19/05/2008 18:29

Tis a bit strange today is it a full moon?

I do not understand why MN is a forum for personal grudges OR love ins to become public. Its a parenting/fashion/music/etc etc site. Not a place to wash your dirty laundry!

I don't think I've been here long enough to understand those threads, no idea what's going on with the vipers and panthers... Is it like the Sharks and Jets? I dunno. Can I be a mumsnet penguin?

OverMyDeadBody · 19/05/2008 18:39

Actually I disagree with you maidamess, it's a social group, some members have been here for years and years, and like any other community, it has its ups and downs, people upset each other, sometimes accidentally, sometimes on purpose, people argue, and people air their dirty laundry. Just like in normal life. And meanwhile all the discussions about parenting/style/music/what's for dinner continue regardless

who flounced?

Buda · 19/05/2008 18:49

I know there is some funny stuff going on. I ignore it - it is too much for my brain!

It'll be fine again in a few days.

Mercy · 19/05/2008 18:50

SEA flounced for about 5 minutes (under the influence of wine I believe). Bless her!
